Have you ever had a moment of complete crisis? When everything you have known or been told now presents itself as a lie. How do you navigate your way through the challenges of life? How do you live a life where you thrive rather than just survive? Throughout my life there have been victories and failures. The one thing that holds true for me at all times is the wisdom I have acquired and applied during these situations. I’m talking about Deep Water Wisdom.
What does the term deep water mean to you?
After researching the terminology, I found that all of the major religions make reference to deep waters in scripture. Islam, Judaism, and Christianity all mention the term in relation to the test and trials of life. Would it then be reasonable to deduct that trials are a part of life? Can we determine that it is inevitable a test will come along our path? My own experience has proved this to be true. What has made the ultimate difference is how I have chosen to respond to the situation, and what I can learn while I am in the midst of it.
Deep water is mentioned in the bible from the Old to the New Testament. The verse that specifically resonates for me is Isaiah 43:2.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”
In times of tribulations it is necessary to have an anchor that grounds you. Deep Water Wisdom is about my journey for truth and the amazing encounters that will follow on a road less traveled.
